Text of Poem

In now time beg the sun hold still
the sundial’s shadow, on your hair
petals like apple blossom words
describe the light crown shining there.

But then time, oh, oh, wish it away,
or it will catch us unaware,
and breath that warmed our words as slow
as winter’s crystals fill the air.
